VICTORIA – BC Liberal candidate for Victoria-Swan Lake Christina Bates officially opened her campaign office last night. The open house was attended by local constituents and special guests Saanich North and the Islands MLA Murray Coell, Saanich South BC Liberal candidate Rishi Sharma, and Esquimalt-Royal Roads BC Liberal candidate Chris Ricketts.
Christina thanked her youthful and energetic campaign team, calling them the face of change. “I am very fortunate to work with such a fun and talented group of people on this campaign,” said Victoria-Swan Lake candidate Christina Bates. “Having a great team supporting me makes my job of connecting with the community to find out what matters to them, and how I can help, that much easier.”
Christina Bates is a local businesswoman and owner of One Tooth Victoria, a successful retail clothing store. As an employer in the community, Christina is passionate about supporting small business. She understands that jobs and a strong economy are the key to the future success of our province. She cares deeply about the environment and is an advocate for mental health issues.
“We need to take a stand to support business growth and development,” said Bates. “With the current state of the economy, now more than ever we need leadership that is fiscally conservative, focused on reducing our provincial debt and investing in business development. Today’s BC Liberals are the only party with a plan to keep British Columbia strong.”
