Rawalpindi—Punjab Chief Minister, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif today visited Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology (AFIC) Rawalpindi and met with the father of Malalah Yousafzai, Ziauddin and uncle Faiz Muhammad to inquire about the health of Malalah Yousafzai. Commandant of AFIC Major General S.M. Shahab Naqvi, Senators Ishaq Dar, Pervaiz Rashid, Advisor to Chief Minister on Health Khawaja Salman Rafique, MNA Malik Ibrar, MPA Malik Iftikhar and Commissioner Rawalpindi Imdad Ullah Bosal were also present on the occasion.
Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif inquired about her health. He prayed for the early recovery of brave daughter of the nation. He conveyed the message of good wishes regarding early recovery of Malalah Yousafzai on behalf of President PML-N Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
The Chief Minister said that the entire nation is united on the matter of Malalah Yousafzai and is standing with her. He said that the cowardly attack on Malalah Yousafzai and other students is highly condemnable. Shahbaz Sharif said that Malalah is a brave and courageous daughter of the nation who gave message of peace and knowledge.
He said when the position holder male and female students of educational boards from Kyber Pukhtonkhwa and other provinces visited Lahore on his invitation, Malalah Yousafzai made a speech very confidently on this occasion and that scene is still before his eyes.
The Chief Minister announced to name Daanish School to be completed next month in Attock after Malalah Yousafzai. He also announced to allocate special quota in the name of Malalah for the girls of Swat in Daanish School Attock.
