Immigrant Welcome Centre Presents Ambassador Award at AGM

The Immigrant Welcome Centre hosted their Annual General Meeting this week at Robron Centre in Campbell River. The organization took the opportunity to celebrate a successful year and kick off their fall programming and services.

“The focus of the past year has been ensuring solid plans are in place for MISA to meet changes and challenges, both expected and unexpected. Thanks to the hard work of the Board and staff, MISA is stronger than ever. One of our proudest achievements this year has been creating solid service delivery solutions for the North Island,” said outgoing Board President, Patricia Gagnon. “The need for services to help immigrants settle successfully in the North Island has surpassed our expectations. Our partnership with NIEFS has played a big part in helping us meet these needs.”
