Lions Club giving bears to hospital patients

On Wednesday December 23, Members of the Milton Lions Club continued their “Lions Bears” tradition by distributing stuffed animals to all patients who have to be in Milton District Hospital (M.D.H.) over the holidays.

The Milton Lions Club was founded in 1963.  They’ve  donated $2066 to the hospital expansion bringing their life time contribution to over $70,000. Some other recent projects include contributions to the CT Scanner and furnishing 2 hospice rooms. The Lions Club are continuing  their commitment by donating all of the proceeds raised from its annual Duck Race to the Milton District Hospital for the next 4 years.
